If the link doesn't work, please paste it in your browser. I just happened to read this 3 days ago & when I saw your post I remembered. This could be very important, best that you investigate it ASAP! Good luck!

Yes def doctors... Itchy hands v common sign of cholestasis as fucker says!

CheeseAndFriedMushrooms · 14/12/2013 02:07

Go to docs or call midwife, ask for blood test straight away. I've had cholestasis twice, treated and managed well by docs/hospital but the blood tests take a few days to come back with the bile levels so need to act quick. I've been induced both times at 37 weeks too because of it. Intense crazy itching on hands was my main symptom.

confuddledDOTcom · 14/12/2013 02:12

Don't mess about with itching.

Doctorbrownbear · 14/12/2013 06:31

I frequently get an itchy bump caused by stretching but other itching needs to be taken seriously and needs checking out.

BlackholesAndRevelations · 14/12/2013 09:20

Definitely take itching in hands and feet seriously! (see above re: obstetric choleastasis) a couple of friends of mine were induced early because of it.

AnyFuckerWillDo · 14/12/2013 21:58

Any news??

CheeseAndFriedMushrooms · 20/12/2013 15:27

Hope all is well OP
