I have found out today that I am expecting but we think my husband has H, F & M.

Are there any risks or concerns and should I see my GP?

My DD had H,F,M a few weeks ago when I was about 6 weeks. The dr told me that there was a small risk of me getting it, and if so, a small risk of miscarrying, but "the chance of miscarrying is 25% anyway so don't worry". Errrr, that was reassuring. But the risk is small, so please don't stress too much. I was told if I did get it to tell the dr. I didn't get it.

Look up H,F,M on NHS website and have a wee read. Please don't stress out though, but call your gp if you're concerned you have symptoms

My 2 year old hand hand foot and mouth. I was told there is noting to be concerned about after making a drs appointment for myself at 6 weeks pregnant. As it is a virus and comes in many different strains the chances are you will have already had it at some point in your life ( or a type of stain of it ) that will make you immune. Hope this helps x

My DD had it early on in my pregnancy. It is a very common virus and the chances are that you have already had it and won't get it again. I would just look out for symptoms and go to the docs if you are worried.

im 20 weeks today and i have hand foot and mouth (feel like im standing at an AA meeting typing that ! lol)

my daughter brought it home from nursery and my partner got it and i thought i'd missed it but i havent.....but mine is nothing like my partners, his was terrible.....

How far along are you? I would just go see your GP to put your mind at rest but like everyone else has said its only a virus....its just a bit of an embarrasing one to talk about it.... (has that leper factor where it looks worse that it is)
