7 + 1 weeks preg and overnight the soreness and fullness in my breasts has disappeared as well as any constipation.

No cramping or bleeding, but I'm nervous as these were basically my only two symptoms.

I have an early scan set up for next Thurs am, but now I'm dreading bad news.

Is this fairly standard or am I right to worry?

I'm sorry I can't really offer much advice other than take it really easy (my motto was never stand if you can sit, and never sit if you can lie down!). I just didn't want you to go unanswered. Fingers crossed everything will be fine for you, pregnancy is a strange thing after all. Things like soreness and constipation can come and go. I hope you have someone who can support you and look after you. Take care and good luck xx

Hi nyldn, it doesn't sound like you have anything to worry about! As MrsShh says, symptoms come and go...I'm just 8w and my boob soreness stopped a couple of weeks ago.
Good luck for the scan! I'm sure all is well x

Hey hope everything is okay! Just take it easy... I didn't have sickness I just had bigger boobs! As a symptom and I worried like hell thinkin something wasn't right and now iv only 8 weeks left xxx

Julietee · 13/12/2013 17:11

Symptoms fluctuate because hormone levels do. Good luck next thursday x

I had sore boobs for about 3 weeks- 4-7 approx- then they disappeared. im now 13 weeks pregnant and everything is going really well!

wispaxmas · 13/12/2013 17:41

Definitely don't worry. A friend of mine and my sister have had missed miscarriages, but they continued to have symptoms even after the foetus stopped growing because your hormones will still go up. If you have cramping and bleeding AND your symptoms ease then it's a bad sign.

There were also a few sad stories in our antenatal thread over the past few weeks of women who still had symptoms despite finding out at their 12-wk scans that the baby had died.

Try to be happy they've gone for now!

Smithy007 · 13/12/2013 17:43

With my second pregnancy my sore boobs disappeared at around 7/8 weeks and didn't return until much later on towards the end of the first trimester. I didn't even feel pregnant until he became absolutely huge! He was perfectly healthy and all was well.

With this pregnancy I've had extremely sore boobs all the way through! I don't think it's really an indicator one way or another.

summerbaby2014 · 13/12/2013 18:55

The same happened to me and I went for an early scan at 9weeks and all was fine. I think this happens a lot and generally doesn't mean anything.
Best of luck for the scan, let us know what happens.

nyldn · 19/12/2013 13:30

had the early scan this morning. measured 8.0 weeks which falls in line exactly with the first day of my last period and the heartbeat was 165. Feeling much less anxious for the time being. it was wonderful to see Smile

I'm so reassured by this. And congratulations too. :)

I knew

Mabelandrose · 19/12/2013 17:21

I knew I had experienced a mc last time because my symptoms stopped. I will try not to get too freaked out if this happens again. Great to have a pus positive outcome!

Mabelandrose · 19/12/2013 17:22

Or just a positive outcome. I hate autocorrect.
