why not olbas oil?

I have had olbas bath many times or used the oil - just one drop on my t-shirts neckline.

Vicks says - if pg ask pharmacist.

you can't use Lemsip or any decongestant tablets though.

try raw garlic, manuka honey, Vit C, steaming, cold or hot compress (whichever works for you)

I actually take echinacea chewable tablets for colds and did with most of my pg and through bf - because once one of mine took about 18 tablets and ate them and I called NHS helpline and they said that there is no toxic limit (or whatever it's callled) for echinacea and that he will be fine.
so I thought I'll be fine taking 2 a day - but that's obviously up to you.

hope you get better soon. ill & pg is rubbish Thanks

I sniffed vicks in my last pregnancy every night, I was a bit obsessed because I had a blocked nose throughout my whole pregnancy, it was the most annoying thing! My 2 year-old is fine.

it's the Vicks nose spray that you shouldn't use. they refused to sell it to me!

you can steam with vicks.

I read you can use otrivine nasal spray because of the way it works, it doesn't go near the baby.

This advice came from a hospital consultant to his patient.

but you might want to speak to your doc!

Also find out what antihistamine you can take as they will help dry up any looseness. I take loratidine when I have a cold which the doctor was happy to give me on (free) prescription.

pink

thanks for that info, I suffer from blocked nose a lot, will try your suggestions!

I had to have antibiotics for sinusitis in two of my pregnancies, you're more prone to it apparently when pregnant. So if you feel really poorly too, it might be worth a trip to docs.

I also got advised to try and clear my nose like you do on a plane to relieve some of the pressure in the ears.
