Do I see my gp?

I'm 25 weeks pregnant and up until now haven't caught any illness; apart from this weekend just gone where gradually I've felt worse Hmm it started with just a sore throat and bit of a cough, but now I'm really chesty, raging sore throat and I'm too scared to cough as it sounds like I'm hacking god knows what up from my chest. What I'm bringing up isn't coloured but I'm getting a bit breathless, and would much rather catch what I've got with antibiotics sooner rather than later. Am I over reacting or should I phone my gp for an appt? I have had the flu jab too, but ever since I was a kid I've suffered with chesty coughs in the winter. Just a couple of years ago it was that bad I needed an inhaler Blush

I would just go and check. When my dds were both tiny I let a cough/bad chest go on and on and by the time I popped to my GP I had pleurisy! Hope you feel better soon.

Yes i would see the gp. You say you are getting a bit breathless and this can be a sign of low iron levels so would be worth asking them to check these too.

It's really odd as in myself (at the moment) I don't feel that bad apart from my throat and chest. I've just tried coughing and it's turned really dry and scratchy, and burns my chest Confused bloody low immune system!
