Blood tests

How and when do you find out results? My mw took blood about a week ago. I have my first scan in a week would it be then? Or will I not hear anything if everything is ok?

You don't hear anything unless there is a problem.

Stupidly I never even asked what the blood was being tested for and just accepted it, but luckily never needed to do anything apart for take iron tablets half way through as my iron was so low.

Hi barb i had bloods at booking in appointment and then at first scan a couple of weeks later mw went through them with me. Everything was fine luckily. I think they only contact you if there's a problem x
