with DD I didn't feel anything until 23 weeks because placenta was at tge front. thought with second pregnancy I'd feel movement much sooner. Tell me it's ok.

Not always I didn't feel dc4 and dc5 till around 24 weeks, it depends on what position baby is lying and where placenta is ect. No need to worry it's normal not to feel it just yetSmile

If your placenta is anterior again it's really normal. I didn't feel movement with my ds2 until 22-23 weeks because of the position of my placenta. This is DC3 and I felt movement from 16 weeks because the placenta is posterior this time. It makes a huge difference.

I assume you have your 20 week scan booked so I'd ask them what the position of the placenta is if you still haven't felt anything. :)

Did they tell you at your 12 week scan where the placenta is? I was told 20 weeks is pretty normal with an anterior placenta, and even at my 20 week scan the sonographer was saying "if you aren't feeling movements now you probably will in a week or two".

Even with a posterior placenta, I'm not sure later than 18 weeks is anything out of the ordinary.

Don't panic. I'm 22 weeks with second baby and have only felt regular movement in the last week or so.
I too was worried as I expected it sooner.
