Hi

I have done a sainsbury test and the results are not clear I have a strong horizontal line and a very faint vertical and then a strong vertical in second box any ideas what this result is?

Potentially a positive! Perhaps do another year?

ThistletoeAndWine · 11/12/2013 11:28

Sophie2013 · 11/12/2013 11:30

I'd get another brand (pound shop work just as well as expensive ones!!) and do one now.
So exciting waiting for bfp Grin Grin

Right second test done of those both have strong vertical lines and faint horizontal. What's that mean?

LlamaLover · 11/12/2013 11:58

You're pregnant

delphi13 · 11/12/2013 12:26

pregnant. A faint line means early on. That's presuming it's not an evaporation line. A different branded test should help you. Try not to get a blue dye one as they tend to give evaporation lines. First response or a clear blue would be better.

Sophie2013 · 11/12/2013 12:37

What would an evaporation Line look like? I would send a picture but I am unsure how to on here.

katrinaxx · 11/12/2013 12:55

first response are the best brand you should get a stong posative even early on xx

LastOneDancing · 11/12/2013 13:23

When are you due on & what time did you test OP?

KatAndKit · 11/12/2013 13:26

If you are past the point where your period is due you could try a digital test. Easier than squinting at faint lines!

Beatrixemerald · 11/12/2013 13:31

A faint line is a line - pregnant! Congratulations

delphi13 · 11/12/2013 17:27

Evap lines tend to not have as much colour to them as proper lines but with blue dyes it's hard to tell. Sometimes they aren't as thick as you would expect a normal line to be. Get thee to a pharmacy to buy a new test.

I reckon you're preggers though.

Snook99 · 11/12/2013 18:14

I had this too mine was really faint but over a few days line got darker and darker! Congratulations x

Barbsta · 11/12/2013 21:20

I had a faint second line and my husband read the entire set of instructions from beginning to end and assured me no matter how faint I was definitely pregnant. I still took another test and he got his 'I told you so' moment lol

Peacenquiet2 · 11/12/2013 22:05

Congrats id say! This time round with dc3 the second line was so faint i had to squint to see it snd noe here i am 27 weeks on and most defo up the chuff!
