  1. Do NOT stress or worry about stretch marks or weight-gain: Your body will change. You will look different. You won't be able to wear clothes you used to, etc. BUT it is all worth it when you hold your tiny baby in your arms and you realise how lucky you truly are. Just glancing at the conception boards make me realise that some people are going through hell and back to conceive, and would give up more than just a few dress sizes to have a baby.

  2. Brush off all the stupid comments, like, "You better sleep now because you won't sleep again for 18 years!". When your baby is cooing and smiling at you at 3am, and yes you're knackered and shattered, its also the most amazing feeling in the world to see how much he loves you. Plus your baby eventually will sleep through - and it won't take him 18 years!

  3. PELVIC FLOOR EXERCISES!: Ugh, the one thing I really wish I had listened to. After 2 babies now my pelvic floor is shattered and I've definitely had a few near-misses running to the loo…

Anything else?

Agree with 2 & 3 as well as parts of 1 but I would say the majority of mums I know do wear their pre pregnancy clothes.

The only thing I can think to add is...it will all pass! Literally!!

ha!! you are not haemorrhaging after childbirth... those clots and dripping blood on tge bathroom floor are normal!!!

oh &... it is normal to feel like you're having contractions all over again a few days after birth. its everything shrinking again.
