How many weeks are you? Don't think there's a lot you can do if you're quite far along as there's nowhere for her to go - just hope she engages soon (although that's when you can eat and breathe fine, but feels like a bowling ball between your legs lol!). If you're still quite early on, try a can of coke to get her active, she may wriggle down a bit?

Go for a walk or run? How far along are you?

Look at Spinning Babies website. An inversion may give baby the space to shift. Also some yoga moves/stretches are good for loosening up the pelvis so baby can shift to a better position. I sympathise, been there and it is uncomfortable.

Are you sure it's the baby?

27 weeks would seem to be early for it to be permanently that high up.

LittlePeaPod · 11/12/2013 06:37

I agree with Toby. I would think at 27 weeks baby is still little enough and still have plenty of room to move around. I would speak to your MW if you are concerned.

Def speak to your midwife, if all is ok I would go swimming. It's perfect to lessen the pressure off :) don't do breast strokes though .

I have an anterior placenta witch is high maybe it could be that coz still in pain with it. Got the midwife 2moz afternoon anyway so will ask while I'm there x
