Since Saturday I have had a tickly cough that has gradually got worse and last night I hardly got any sleep. Just wondering what you ladies would recommend I take? Is buttercup syrup ok? Or benylin?

I had glycerin honey and lemon linctus. Or just have honey and lemon juice in some boiled water.

I've got a spare lemon and some honey in the cupboard thanks bippidee. I guess throat sweets too are ok?

It depends which ones! I didn't take anything whilst pg (now have a 12week old!). I can't remember which cough sweets are ok. I would ask your GP or pharmacist to be on the safe side.

Pharmacist told me only glycerin tablets / syrup are ok. No strepsils or anything I'm afraid. Try honey and lemon

You can definitely take lockets or similar.
