Hey ladies... Well, I, 6 weeks (roughly) with baby number 3!
I can't stop eating! I'm talking, 4 meals a day and loads of snacks between, I can't not sit, stand, walk, without food! Never known this!
Piled on weight already..
Anybody the same x

Hi, I am/was exactly the same. The only thing that takes away the nausea is eating (nausea has decreased majorly in the last few weeks though). I am 20 weeks now and I've put on A STONE AND A HALF. I'm absolutely horrified and nearly fell off the scales when I saw. I wish I had made the effort to eat healthier things, but maybe the majority if the weight gain would have happened anyway - everyone is different after all.

Was it different with your first two pregnancies OP? x

I have had that off and on. Right around 6 weeks I was ravenous all the time, but it wore off within a couple weeks.. Only to rear it's hear again about a week ago at 13 1/2. If you're actually hungry then eat. If it's just cravings the drink some water and put it out of your mind. I'm not sure your body would be telling you you were starving if you didn't have some need for the extra calories, at least for now.

If you're hungry then eat, try and keep it as healthy as possible, but don't go hungry as your body is asking for fuel. Though I feel I've stuck to this and have put on plenty more than the maximum recommended weight. I don't really understand how or what I could have done differently (no sweets/crisps/junk food etc)
At that stage I really craved carbs - potatoes, rice etc. Think you just have to go with it.

I was ravenous - double breakfast was a must! Like Quack I was all about the evil carbs, but I felt so rough without them!

LadyLashes, thats a rubbish effort at massive weight gain! I'm 2 stone heavier and fat as a sparrow Grin

Thankfully it tailed off and now at 23 weeks I cant eat much due to a baby hogging all the space.. I'm hoping that might even things out a bit?

Lady lashes - my first two pregnancys I was realllyyyyy sick so couldn't eat a thing for 16 weeks nearly. And I was skinny all the way through, just my bump was all baby.. No extra fat lol but this time I know is going to be very very different!!!! X

I got really hungry with both pregnancies. This time round I've been more nauseous than sick and found hummous and things to dip a lifesaver. Plus I could share with DD who loved having "picnic" lunches :)

I eat a lot of fruit in pregnancy too, quick and easy.
