Hiya all. wondering if any one is feeling the same? I'm 10+4 and have 0 energy and feel really down. The smallest thing makes me cry and i am feeling really isolated from my friends (most of whom i have not told about the pregnancy yet). I have not had any sickness during my pregnancy so i know i have nothing to complain about but i still feel generally rubbish. Got no motivation for work either... i just want to go back to bed!

Morning Lucy. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I think I had a very similar low patch at about 10 weeks - I can remember feeling totally drained & sad, despite having a very healthy pregnancy & no sickness (just nausea!).

All of a sudden one evening at 12 weeks I realised I didn't feel I'll anymore. It was that sudden. But I hadn't realised how rough, tired & down I had felt until I was out of the other side. It also helps when you get the scan done too - a whole level of worry is removed (and replaced by 20 week scan angst, but its still progress!)

Do you have support in place? Is your work flexible or could you take a day off if you're feeling drained & need to rest?

Fingers crossed the same will happen to you & you're very close to feeling so much better Smile

I had exactly the same last week (at 10 weeks) so must be something going on around that time. I sat on the sofa once DD1 and 2 had gone to bed and cried my eyes out every night. Felt so low and physically exhausted. This week things all seem a lot brighter and even seem to be over the worst of the nausea. Hang on in there and congratulations ... it will all be worth it :) x
