In early labour and being induced

Hi, I think I'm in the early/latent stages of labour as I lost my mucus plug last night and have been getting quite painful contractions since yesterday (and milder ones the day before). As I'm nearly 42 weeks, I'm due to go into hospital tomorrow at 8am for induction. I've read up on induction but just wondered if anyone has experience of being in this situation, as it seems things are starting off on their own (slowly!!) and I'm not sure whether to just go with the flow tomorrow or ask to be monitored but left alone to see if things progress on their own. Would love to hear any advice or similar experiences!

They will check you over thoroughly before they start induction (the belt thingy that measures contractions, if you are dilating etc) so if you are on the way and they are happy you might be left to get in with it. Talk to them tomorrow and good luck.

I've been induced three times now btw so if you have any questions I'll be back in the morning. You are going to meet your baby soonGrin.
