Chicken pox?!!?!??????!!!!!!!!!!

I've been to a kids party today with my little un and my niece had spots all over her which I was convinced was chicken pox, her mum took her to get them checked out! Thing is I'm 15 weeks pregnant and have had chicken pox and shingles! Am I ok?????????? Aahhhhhhhhhhh

If you have had them both I am pretty sure you will have immunity.
My DD had chickenpox when I was pregnant and I was offered a blood test to check my immunity - but the GP was only prepared to do this when DD had actually caught it not just when we were exposed to it.
If you are worried maybe phone your midwife for advice.

You will be fine as you've already had it (so will have immunity). It would only be a concern if you had never had chicken pox.

You are almost certainly right Time but I have had chickenpox twice so it's not always a guarantee ! Am not sure what shingles means from an immunity perspective.

My son has just had chicken pox and I'm 12wks. I spoke to a mw who wasn't concerned in the slightest because of already had it myself. She said they are more concerned about slap cheek at the moment I didn't know that could be an issue for pregnant women.
