I keep waking up really hungry in the early hours!

Anyone else have this and do you ignore or stuff down that bowl of cereal like you haven't eaten in days?

I'm trying not to eat too much unnecessarily and healthily as was overweight when I got pregnant!

I had this for a week or two but it went away again.

I'm 23 weeks, have been doing this since the beginning and mainly around 4 am. The hunger pangs stop me from sleeping so I nearly always give in. This morning it was leftover mashed potato with steamed broccoli and cauliflower. Yum.

Sometimes I have it... I resist actual food and have a glass of milk. Those mid night snacks were my peril last pregnancy! I put on over 3 stone.. x x

yes sorry i've had this in bursts throughout the pregnancy(35 weeks now). think it's when baby is having a growth spurt.
i wake up utterly ravenous and have to have a bowl of cereal/handful of nuts/banana etc. i always have banana, milk and nuts before going to bed to try and prevent being hungry in the night but sometimes have to eat!

I had that ! Was so hungry around 3/4 am it would wake me up. Regardless of how much food I hate eaten at diner. I ended up making myself a little sandwich with a glass of water by my bed and would just eat it half asleep when I woke up!! It went away after a couple of weeks though :) Good luck!!

Am 34 weeks and been getting this since around 20wks. Most nights I wake up around 3-4am starving and can't sleep, so always go and have a small bowl of cereal or some toast.
