I'm 23 weeks and fed up.

Got awful SPD and round ligament pain, almost constant indigestion, nausea which is returning despite being on a cocktail of anti-emetics and steroids, and I'm tired all the damn time.

If one more person tells me it's not long to go now I am going to hit them. Not long?! It's bloody ages!

Oh I feel for you! I'm 40+1 now, house bound due to spd- cannot get comfortable in any position and uterlly fed up!
Had failed sweep yesterday too as well as being constipated just to add to everything!'
Two things have been making me mad a) ' it won't be long now- the end is in sight and
B) ' it's all worth the wait' blah blah blah
YES I KNOW but it doesn't make any day any easier or stop me wanting to punch you in the face!!!

This week I also had someone day to me ' your only 5 days overdue what are you maiming about!' Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. That made me MAD!!!

Oh another good one is to say
' just go for a nice walk-'that will get things moving '
Oh yes that's an idea when spd is so bad I can't walk and am house bound- clever clogs!

Oooooo sorry- rant took over a little much!

Sympathy to you though from someone who knows pregnancy is crap!! Good luck !

  • moaning even!
MurderOfGoths · 08/12/2013 09:37

Rant away! Sounds like you need it!

It's blood horrible isn't it? So much for pregnancy being all "glowing" and joyful.

I also get the constipation, it's a side effect of the anti-emetics, I think that right now I'm more excited by the thought of a normal poo than holding a new baby!

Murder haha I can totally understand that!!
Waiting for a poo seems to take over my day- especially as I've had the horrible bout of piles as a side effect. Jesus if people spread the word about how crap pregnancy is I wonder how many would avoid it haha!
