Hi, I'm 7 weeks and 4 days gone and have been suffering from horrible nausea (no sickness) since about 6 weeks. My nipples have also been quite sore. Anyway I know this is all normal but I've woke up this morning and both of these symptoms have disappeared. Obviously I'm not complaining as I was starting to become totally fed up but now I'm worried it could be a bad sign. There has been no bleeding whatsoever. Had my first midwife appointment yesterday and she said to expect to feel rubbish until week 12 and possibly beyond. Did anyone else experience this and go on to have normal pregnancies or bad news? I'm a first timer so getting increasingly worried!

My symptoms went and then a few weeks later I was admitted to hospital due to hyperemesis!

It's not necessarily a bad sign. Enjoy being able to eat whilst you can and try not to worry.

Don't consider yourself out of the water just yet! I had a couple of days like that in my first trimester but it always came back I'm afraid Sad

Thanks both, in a way I do hope it returns! I suppose having a few days breathing space will be nice! People just go on so much about it not easing until at least week 12 so you think the worst...!

I'm 7+2 and my symptoms have eased right up in the last couple of days. Am trying to enjoy it!

Haha I meant out of the woods! 40+2 and baby brain at all time high! Anyway I hope you continue to feel better Smile

I hate to say it but I had a missed miscarriage last year, I felt like crap then all of sudden symptoms went at 7 weeks. It can be a bad sign sometimes and I wish people had been honest with me at the time. Fingers crossed for you xx

My symptoms also disappeared at about 8 weeks. Healthy baby though! Missed miscarriages are very very rare (apparently 1%) so its far more likely that, like many people, your symptoms have just faded for a bit! Don't worry!

I had the opposite experience to Ellie - missed miscarriage earlier this year but all my symptoms had continued until 12 week scan when it was diagnosed, despite baby dying at 8 weeks so for me symptoms weren't an indications of anything either way.
