My god, I'm so itchy. Past few days I can't seem to stop itching.

Problem is now I'm started, I can't stop Blush At 24wks or so I developed psoriasis, which is clearly up nicely yes incredibly slowly I don't think it's linked as I don't have any more psoriasis patches.

Nothing has changed, shampoo, washing power or shower gel nothing. Currently 33wks so a while left yet.

I'm finding by boobs and hair are the worst.

Any advice.... apologies if you know can't stop scratching Wink

Two pregnancies, same problem.

Bought very expensive oils and lotions with various degrees of success until I found the holy grail - E45 Bath Oil + E45 Itchy Cream and nothing else on my body. As soon as I had a shower using the bath oil and applied the cream the itchiness was gone immediately.

I stupidly tried other combinations a few times and really regretted it - during second pregnancy I just used them from the first trimester and not a single episode.

Give your midwife a call, may be worth checking your bloods just to be on the safe side .

No worries. I'm a midwife and whenever women complain of severe unrelenting itching I always run bloods . 9 times out of 10 it's fine and just normal growth and stretching , but there is always that odd one that comes back with choleostasis.

Though I'm sure it's probably not based on where you are itching, but never good to not check just in case,

Best of luck

Can totally sympathise with you! Had the same problem for the past 4 weeks Confused mine ended up spreading everywhere except my face, ended up at the doctors and have been given 2antihistamines to take along with various creams, not fun at all! At least the edge has been taken off with the antihistamines, took a couple of weeks though!

Hope u feel better soon! X

I am on pregnancy no3, and have suffered with severe itching with all 3. Please mention to your midwife as a consultant can prescribe a diprobase cream with menthol in it, which did help. With this pregnancy I have found that sanex zero shower gel followed by Vaseline aloe Vera hydrating gel is working wonders.

Yes! Im jumping all over the sofa tonight due to my itchy, itchy, itchy tummy!! Very occasionally it spreads all over for a few scratchy hours, then disappears!

I'm waiting for stretch marks to pop any minute...

HopeS01 · 08/12/2013 14:38

I'm having exactly the same problem. I can get comfortable throughout the day because I'm so itchy, and at night I'm climbing the walls!
I've started using my sister's Aqueous Cream (for her eczema) and it's working wonders!!
Good luck :( xx

HopeS01 · 08/12/2013 14:39

*cant get comfortable

daughterofafarmer · 08/12/2013 15:49

Sorry that so many other people are dealing with the itch too...

I used sanex zero for the last 2 days and it's much better.

Agree climbing the walls in the evenings....
