I'm being induced today. im 38+1 and nervous!

had a sweep on Tuesday night and just lost my plug. tmi but it was brownish.

does anyone know what they will do? would I still get induced if im progressing naturally. like would they break my waters or something?

I've no experience of being induced but just wanted to wish you luck.

Hi, good luck! I was induced at 38 weeks, they gave me a vaginal pesserie and had to wait 24 hours to see if I went into labour, nothing happend so then they broke my water, and within 2 minutes of them breaking my waters I had strong intense contractions and beautiful little girl was born within 2 hours :) x

I'm being induced early because ive had 4 episodes of reduced movements so they decided to just get baby out.

had the pessary and getting backache and bloody strong tightenings with a little pain. had the first of many walks round the hospital to get things moving

I ended up having an emcs after being induced at midday Friday but still not being in established labour by Sunday night. Baby was born at 2am on the 9th
