tests required with clexane ??!

hi ladies
i had 2 miscarriage ,, + LA

i'm pregnant 5w and 3 days
i'm on clexane 40 according to my weight (50 Kg)
my question is .. is there any test that confirm and insure that this dose is suitable for me .. or i need more or less ?or the weight is enough to know ?? any help ,,

I don't think it depends on your weight, it's 20mg for low risk, 40mg for high risk, though they do use 60mg if you are obese. I was on 20 mg after recurrent miscarriages but have no diagnosed clotting problem, clexane is also supposed to be cytoprotective for the developing placenta. I'm 13 weeks now after 4 first trimester MCs, hope it also works well for you.

When i saw the haematologist she said the current guidelines for pregnancy were 60 if your weight was above 90kg, and 40 if it was below if you have been prescribed it due to antiphospholipid syndrome. I expect a dose of 20 would only apply if you don't have a diagnosis but they want to try you on it anyway to see if it helps you carry to term. I would not worry, you are on the standard dose.
