Cramping

Hey everyone, I realise this question probably comes up regularly but I just wanted to set my mind at ease before I see midwife on the weekend. I'm currently coming up for 9 weeks and have been experiencing mild cramping, sort of like I'm coming onto my period. No spotting or bleeding though. When I was 6 weeks I had tiny little cramps similar to coming onto period but these ones are more intense. Not excruciating, just uncomfortable I suppose. I've been told by a few friends it's just my uterus expanding and preparing for baby. Just wanted to see everyone else's opinions

I had loads of cramping in my first trimester. It can be totally normal. Mention it to your mw by all means, but try not to worry :)

I had cramping at that stage. I'm 29 weeks now and had it for the past couple of days on and off. But I can see myself belly getting bigger every day, so know it must be uterus stretching.

Thanks ladies, my belly getting bigger too so must be that. Not by much though as I don't expect to be yet!
