I've got my first appointment next week with the doctor, and have been quitting smoking are patches safe??

I know it say to consult your doctor but I've got a week till I see him. Does anyone know anything about it? Or had any advise themselves?

Thank you

This link is useful.

It sounds as if the patches are much better than smoking - well done on quitting by the way. If you can wean yourself off the patches, then that's even better.

Definitely speak to your GP/Practice Nurse, but my understanding is that the 16 hour patches are more suitable than 24 hour patches.
Having said that any patches are better than smoking.
Well done, its the best thing you can do for your baby.

I'm on the 16 hour patches but still on step one so got a while to go yet think I will have a go at cutting them down this week to the next level. :S

hopefully I don't start getting hormonal and grouchy I'm sure they don't mix well together haha!
Thank you x
