Can you have sickness and pregnancy symptoms before it shows up on pregnancy test? Xx

Yup! I did. Felt sick ten days before the missed period was due and didn't get a positive result until 4+3. Good luck!

4+3 means 4 weeks and 3 days since last period, so depending on usual cycle length, this was probably around the time the period was expected or a few days afterwards.

Yes, plus I had 2 negative pregnancy tests first. It must just have been too early. Still, a surprise pregnancy was a lot better than the other things the nausea could nave indicated. am nearly 20 weeks now with DC3.

A week after ovulation I was hit by extreme fatigue for about 2 days- I was exhausted, couldn't keep my eyes open. About 10 days after ovulation I couldn't stop weeing!!! I got my BFP when I was 14 dpo.

hey lydo, I would wait a few days from when you last tested, then test again. The recommendation is to wait 48 hrs between testing, to allow for the hormone to show (hcg), it should then get stronger on subsequent tests.
Writer - I've been hit by the exhaustion too! keep cancelling all my plans as just too wiped to see anyone. Tell me it passes!

I think I'm going mad..n surely you can't get all the symptoms before you get a positive test? I guess all will be revealed soon :) x

well, most of the symptoms (especially dizziness etc) are because of changes in hormones which do happen immediately as your body gets ready and does its thing. so don't mistrust them! but also it pays to be a bit patient, wait till you have your bfp before spotting as it just leads to stress imho.

Hi, no - 3 days after missed period I got the +-ve result! Not 4 weeks. I'd have gone crazy in that time ;)
Wait a few days and test again.
