Wasn't allowed a Xmas Pudding sample!!! LOL

Hi, I have to share this because it made me laugh so much. They were doing samples of xmas pudding in our local supermarket and the assistant wouldn't let me have one! She said as they contained nuts and alcohol she "advised" against it! Im pretty sure there is more alcohol in my hairspray than a tiny bite sized sample of xmas pudding! Normally I would of made such a fuss and got the manager over etc etc but I really can't be arsed with anything at the moment. Baby is due anytime now so I have more important things to stress about!

That is ridiculous!

People can be so silly. Two summers ago I was 8 mo pregnant with DS2 and really felt like a shandy. Went to the co-op just with car keys and credit card to buy alcohol free beer. I was huuuuuge (ds turned out to weigh more than 10 lbs) and I was 35 at the time. The guy at the checkout insisted on me proving my age before he would sell me the alcohol free beer. The only thing that saved me was the couple behind me who could not stop laughing. Crazy.

When I was pregnant with DD1 I spent Christmas Eve with friends in our local. I was drinking Becks Blue from the bottle. A lady on a neighbouring table spent the whole evening tutting at me. DH decided to ask the barman for water in shot glasses to line up in front of me to see if she'd combust but as it was Christmas we decided even Daily Mail reading, pearl clutchers should be extended goodwill.
