No bump? When did you get yours.......

Hello all

I am delighted to be 16+2 weeks pregnant after 2mc this year but have no sign at all of any tummy. Despite 3 scans (all seems well) i have no hint of a bump and the response i get from everyone i know is "oh you dont look pregnant at all."

I am five ten and size 12-14.

Would love to know when i can expect some kind of bump to start showing so I would love to know when did you get yours???

I'm about your height and size and it took a good while - up until about 24 weeks if I wore loose tops you couldn't tell I was pregnant. Now at 29 weeks I definitely have a bump but still not a huge one, and I've given in to maternity jeans and tops. I can still fit into my non-maternity jeans but they are not very comfortable if I sit down.

If you're 5'10" your lucky baby's got loads of room before it has to expand outwards!

With that and the fact that (I assume) it's your first, it might well be 20+ weeks until you show. I barely showed with my first until then and I'm only 5'3".

i am 5 7 and have a bump now at 28 weeks not much before

I had a small bump at 20 weeks with my first, customers didn't notice until I was about 25 weeks though

With my first I got my bump at 8months and just looked bloated :-(
With my second I got a bump straight away, got pregnant quickly after having first. Now onto my 3rd and got my bump at about 4months

I am the same height as you and I only looked pregnant at 8 months.
Wore my skinny jeans throughout but kept the button undone for the last month.

Great thing is, you will be back to normal in weeks after the birth.

I'm 17 weeks and 5'7, I feel like I'm huge and really noticeable but everyone at work is saying how skinny I am and I don't even look pregnant, am I sure I really am pregnant? things like that. There's another girl at my work and she's 10 days less than me but has a really defined bump bump envy (I'm sure ill regret it in a few weeks) on the plus side everyone says ill snap back to my normal size in no time

You are all making me feel a lot better! I will probably rue the day i wished getting bigger by the time i am the size of a small house!

Somersethouse i hope it's not just our names that are similar and i snap back into shape post birth too!

I am 5'6 and was() a size 12 when I was pg with dd and I didn't get a bump until about 20 weeks . Even then I didn't look proper pregnancy until I was about 25ish weeks .

I am 5"4 and a size 8-10. I didn't get a proper little bump until about 20 weeks.

With dc1 in my much much skinnier size 10 body at 5"6 I didn't show till 7 months my stomach was flat and literally popped in about a week and I'm covered in stretch marks I'm convinced that's the reason why. With my other 4 pregnancys it's been between 16- 25 weeks.

I'm much the same size and height as you. I could tell I was getting a bump at about the stage you're at, but it was another 6 weeks or so before it became vaguely noticeable.

I'm now 31 weeks and it's a definite bump but if I have a coat on it's not the noticeable.

Glad to read this thread! I'm 5'10" 5'9 and 3/4 and a 12/14 and you definitely wouldn't notice I was pregnant. I've been wondering this too, come on bump! (but yes, also being careful what I wish for in terms of my future being the size of a small planet

I'm 5ft 6, size 10 and my bump started appearing at 18 weeks. I'm now 23 weeks and it is huge! There's no hiding it

Im 5,11 and was slim size 12 with dc 1. Didnt get bump till around 26ish weeks and still only had tiny one at 41 weeks! Now on dc3 and at 26 weeks id say ive got the bump equivelent to when i was 34 weeksish with dc1.
The more you have the bigger the bumps! :-)

My First was 20 odd weeks and never really got very big, second was nearly 30 weeks and I had him at 35 weeks, never got very big that time either and my neighbour was shocked when she seen me in the garden with the baby as apparently she didn't actually know I was pregnant.

Some people just don't show early or much.

At about 20 weeks people started to notice but it was more of a domey tummy than a bump... that was more 25 weeks onwards... think it depends really!

I was showing by 16 weeks...... but I'm five foot nothing.

Thank you all i feel far better having heard your experiences. It's amazing how other people can make you feel by their comments i would previously have never given a darn if people thought i looked fat, thin or otherwise before the pregnancy hormones and sensitivity kicked in
