Kicks to cervix?

23 weeks pregnant and for the past few days the baby had had me wincing!

She moves pretty much constantly, but I've been getting this strange sensation in my cervix when she kicks/punches me. It's the same feeling as smear test, but more prolonged and all the time.

I was almost in tears last night! I remember it once with ds, but never this prolonged.

Anyone else get this? It feels like she's trying to escape.

Yes! Got this from 34 weeks or so. Feels like an electric shock so no chance of breathing through it. You have my sympathy!

Have had this a lot recently. Am overdue now and at times is so bad I can't move! Mostly when walking. Asked my midwife About it today and she said it is very common although no one knows what it is or what causes it! Bizarre !
