I'm 19+4 and since Monday have been having lower bump pain. I wasn't worried as it was worse after doing too much walking, but today the pain is worse and feels more deep and crampy. Also hasn't eased after resting.

I thought I felt first kicks on Friday but nothing since. So basically I'm freaking out thinking the worst. I have my 20 week scan on Friday and I'm extremely nervous.

DP thinks I just need to calm down as it's probably growing pAins, and he's probably right but I'm just wondering if I should call MW in the morning

It is always best to speak to your midwife if there is anything at all concerning you during your pregnancy. Hopefully it's just muscle pain and your baby hasn't got its jabbing and kicking quite strong enough yet for you to feel much.

If it's going to put your mind at rest call the MW....

However lower bump pain could be stretching or the start of SPD symptoms (pubic bone problems) as mine often goes along with bump pain.

Movements are likely to be pretty irregular at this stage as baby still has tons of room. Mine didn't get reliable until 22-23 weeks.
