I'm after a bit of advice please. 6 weeks after having DD I started my periods again, but am having real troubke using tampons. They feel very uncomfortable, and 'dry'/ scrape-y when removing, even when clearly soaked, they're also uncomfortable in situ. Its the same brand as normal, and I gave birth by c-section so am a bit mystified. Can't face continuing to use just pads... Anyone got any advice please?

I think you're advised not to use tampons for a while after birth because of the changes to the environment in your vagina. Shape, ph, moistness etc! Have you tried a mooncup/similar product, a lot of women on here rave about them.

I couldn't use tampons for about 12 months after having DS. Mooncup or sanitary pads were all I could manage until then!
