Nice I know. One of my nipples is mega dry and cracked. Should I go to the GP or just ask a pharmacist?
I'm only 11+2 weeks so it's not milk related. It's just gone weird.

Lansinoh lanolin nipple cream (from mothercare or boots) will sort you right out. Amazing stuff.

Lots of moisturiser and avoid getting the area soapy when you wash. I had this happen to both of mine due to a combo of dehydration and my boobs having a huge growth spurt, MW told me that as long as the cracking didn't get infected they didn't need anything more than a bit of moisturiser and maybe a little cotton padding if you normally wear lacy bras.

Christ, your post made my toes curl Shock! Do you have sudocrem or something you could use until you next see the midwife?

Definitely get some lansinoh on there. But is it possibly a fungal infection that could be the cause of this? If that's the case then moisturising it would make it worse so i would get it looked at. I got a fungal skin infection for the first (and hopefully last) time during my pregnancy.

Lansinoh is amazing stuff. I would go to your GP though to get it looked at, or a walk-in centre if you have one close.
