I had a vaginal birth and a Csection in a space of 12 minutes...........beat that

LaDiDaDi · 14/07/2006 16:40

So you have actually been on both sides of the fence at once .

waterfalls · 14/07/2006 16:45

something like that

LiliLaTigresse · 14/07/2006 16:47

ooooh I had one, I did I did!!!!!!
It's really lovely, and you get a nice choice of drugs depending on your taste
stitching afterwards is sometimes needed, make sure you get a colour that goes with your skintone though

Spagblog · 14/07/2006 16:50

Ooh, it's fab. It is even better if the registrar has to stick both arms in up to the elbow!

expatinscotland · 14/07/2006 16:50

I had two. What an experience! It really isn't to be missed. In fact, I still have the scars - both mental and physical.

beansontoast · 14/07/2006 16:52

i still cant believe to this day that it actually happened.

Blandmum · 14/07/2006 16:53

Twig....you are a wicked little marmite snack and you are going to get your nobbles spanked

Twiglett · 14/07/2006 18:31

spank a twiglett ... you'll end up with marmite all over you .. don't say you haven't been warned

I did and very much expected Rolf Harris to show up to make some comments. What's the difference between a vaginal birth and animal hospital?

wheresmyfroggy · 14/07/2006 18:42

Tis the downside of being a man.........I have had to make do with spectating only.

FrannyandZooey · 14/07/2006 18:45

LOL Twig

A vaginal birth is the only chance I have ever had (since babyhood) to poo myself in front of a room full of people without censure

Twiglett · 14/07/2006 18:47

hmmm .. yes .. ponders whether hippydom has once again taken a leap into extremism from the lentil-weaver corner

FrannyandZooey · 14/07/2006 18:54

Is pooing yourself in public a hippie sort of thing, then?

Interesting...

Twiglett · 14/07/2006 18:56

I think its the aspiring to poo yourself really

JessaJam · 14/07/2006 19:43

ooh yes, lovely!! The trick is to get as many members of the maternity ward staff in the delivery suite with you...it just makes you feel SO warm and relaxed..."come on in, total stranger, have a looksee at THIS!" "oh, you're a porter? That's okay, c'mon in"

beansontoast · 15/07/2006 15:37

i wouldnt have cared if i was in the middle of wembley [or any other]stadium...and would have entrusted any b@stard to get it out ...by whatever means necessary.

sparkler1 · 15/07/2006 15:42

Twiggy!!!! .............would only want one in a conservatory
