Growth scan 39 weeks

Had a midwife appointment today and bump is measuring 34cms, down from 36cms at 38 weeks. Been referred for an emergency growth scan. I'm aware that baby engaging can mean fundal height isn't an accurate measurement, but I can't help worrying! Anyone had a similar experience?

Don't panic, even with the same midwife always doing the measurements there can be quite a margin of error for a number of reasons, including how baby is positioned. It is good that they are sorting a scan for you just in case, but so long as the heart rate is good and you've had the same amount of movement as usual then try not to stress yourself.

Yep! And then all 9lb 5 of him arrived two days later!!!
