Am I a freak???

I have got the smell for bleach / chlorine water. I leave a bit of flash on the bath so I can smell it! I'm thinkin of buying chlorine tablets for when I have a bath?? Will this harm the baby and is anyone else gettin the smell and wanting things like this?? Xxx

It was diesel fuel for me. DD is 11 mo and I still have to have a good sniff at the fuel pump

You may be, but we are freaks together. I'm OBSESSED with bleach here too, at 38 weeks. I have at least 5 bottles in the house now and am regularly wiping over the whole bathroom with barely diluted stuff just so I can enjoy the clean smell!

I know I shouldn't too, but it just smells incredible.

I had a bit of a thing for the white spirit I was using when painting up the nursery furniture, although wasn't quite so liberal with my usage! Oops...

Toddles off to bathroom to squirt a bit more down the loo so it smells good first thing

Oh god!! I just love petrol haha and party poppers my mother in law was going mad at me sat there sniffing them all night haha!!!

Haha I'm 29 weeks. And iv been like this for couple of weeks going thru bottles. What are we like???

Tbh I think it's cleaning products, shake and vac too haha!!!

Yup, cleaning products are my kryptonite at the moment. God knows how much money I've wasted on all sorts! Went through lots of shake and vac earlier this week and felt like I was in heaven when I was stood in the Tesco cleaning aisle the other day. DP literally had to drag me away from the beeswax polish I was softly caressing!

I'm hoping I will be a little less insane when DS arrives! I've ran out of things to clean for now so thinking tomorrow I might bleach/ wash the kitchen walls...

So glad I saw this post! I thought I was insane every time I mop up and add floor cleaner to the water my mouth waters, it's watering now thinking about it I really want to drink it and I thougt I was absolutely mental! So happy to know I'm not the only freak

Not a freak!

When I was pg I was polishing the house about 3 times a day just because I was so obsessed with the smell of furniture polish! I even kept the can by my bed just so I could have a sniff when I wanted!

A friend of me was like this and smelling bleach was her thing but she ended up with a huge sore under her nose from sniffing it straight from the bottle, so be careful ladies don't get too close!
I much prefer the smell of fresh paint and gloss to cleaning products though. I didn't know if it was just me being weird or a nesting kinda thing

For me it's washing powder, and I don't just want to smell it, I want to eat it! :-/

I used to do this too in early pregnancy when just being near the bathroom would make me heave so I used to bleach the bathroom everyday. Ahh the gentle aroma of bleach.

I hate cleaning so much, the last time I was pregnant I was obsessed with Comfort and ironing, I ironed everything so it was all lovely and had a lovely ironing water. I used to just iron stuff so I could use it

Yey least I'm not the only one! Iv bought some more bleach yesterday shake and vac and baby sterilising tablets. Put it on water and gunna pop a tiny bit in my boiling bath!!!

Prob not good for my skin and I'll rinse it off after! But I just have this feeling of sitting in the bath with that smell!

It smells that good I want to drink it but I won't!! Xxxxx
