so I got pregnant soon after my wedding... read 2 weeks soon.. and I'm off to a rock concert on wednesday. my oh said this will be the last one for a little while.. which got me thinking, what other things do people do or recommend to do whilst being pregnant as a 'we wont be doing that in a while' type thing. (skydiving, themeparks and wine tasting are already off the menu ;)

Leave the house with just a small handbag and with no fixed idea when you'll be back and what and when you'll eat.

Oh one more I thought of-
Go to a cafe and sit by yourself with a hot drink just people watching out of the window. Seems odd but I did that just by chance a couple of weeks ago and I remember thinking that's the first time in years I'd done something so completely free and without any real purpose. My maternity leave will be full of quiet, selfish and pointless things like cafe stops, yoga and window shopping for ages in book shops. All of those things are a hassle or impossible with a baby.

Sleep. That really delicious morning sleep where you accidentally sleep an hour longer than intended and feel amazing for it.

Go to the cinema lots.

Watch DVDs snuggled up together, safe in the knowledge that you can watch a film in one sitting.

Go out on dates.

Leave the house on a whim with nothing but your phone and keys.

Sleep. Did I mention sleep? :)

I think a bucket list is unnecessary! I do everything I did before! Skiing? Check. Climbing in nepal? check. Eating out? Check. Parties? Check. Even rock concerts! We just take our baby with us!! Even to the rock concert! (It was blondie in kew gardens but still). Your life doesn't need to stop because of your baby, it just becomes more fun as all 3 of you go places, instead of just the 2 of you xx

Before I fell pregnant this year went on to hoildays one to tunisa and one to Egypt (Egypt I found out I was preg)

Wanted a couple of hols just my hubby and I, whilst we were child free.

Was well worth it. Would love to go to Australia but I'm 20 weeks now and skint so that may be left unticked off the list lol

I wouldn't prioritise watching films or going to the cinema. You have years of film watching evenings in ahead of you!
I would go out for a long lazy breakfast, enjoy lie-ins, sit by a pool and read a book, in fact just read a book, go shopping and buy things for you.

im no way saying my life is going to stop or get worse in anyway, i just want to enjoy the last few months (and only few months) we will have as a newly married couple 'without strings'
