I miss sleep

33+3 and not had a full nights sleep in the last two weeks. Have woken up every night about half 3 in the morning and not getting back to sleep, assuming I do,until about half 5 then getting up for work at 7(ish, have slept through my alarm most mornings and am waking up 10minutes before I need to leave for the office)

I have heard this is 'practice' for when you have a screaming newborn. Feel like it would be more bearable if I had a screaming newborn to deal with rather than just lying there!

Maternity leave starts on Friday - cant come quick enough.

You're not alone. 31 weeks and have been like this since 20 weeks thanks to hip, leg and back pain plus insomnia plus 3 year old having nightmares.

Ps. Screaming newborn does not make it any more bearable I'm afraid. Confused

I hear you, sisters. 35+3 here and if I'm not itchy and tight tummies I'm nipping to the loo. And just started to get bad dreams.
