ouch pain in left side

Hi all I'm 16week pregnant with dc2 and I got this crippling pain in my side every so often any ideas

How high up is the pain? Is it low down and does it come on suddenly when you get up quickly and then go again just as fast? -which would probably be round ligament pain. Or is it more just under your left boob? -indigestion, heartburn?

It's low down on my left it struck me while laying down and for the life of me I couldn't move or get up

Sam it's probably simply ligament pain as all your muscles and such are expanding and moving to accommodate baby, have you tried relieving it with paracetamol and a warm bath? Hopefully that will sort it, however, as you sound like you're in an awful lot of pain because of it you might want to ring the MW or GP to ask for some advice.
