Hcg 50 at 4w5d .advice please

Hi . I had a scan yesterday they couldn't see anything so they send me for hcg test that came back at only 50 they said I'm going to have a miscarriage because it's so low they said I could go back tomorrow to test it again to make sure it's going down or just wait for the miscarriage to start has anyone gone through the same thing thanks

It's impossible to say whether the pregnancy is viable or not with a single result. 50 is low for 4+5 but it is possible that your dates could be out- for example you mar have ovulated late. Why did you have th scan? Have you had any bleeding?

I've had no bleeding just mild cramps

hi op as others say its impossible to tell with just one hcg result you could be just very early even know your due date is calculated from the lmp its not allways correct i have been through this and did have a mmc sadly no bleeding no cramps till weeks after my best advice is to hang on in their no one can say for sure yet and sending you lots of hugs take care
