Thrush detected in urine at 39 weeks...ouch!

Ouch is all I can say!

Mw sent off a sample this week due to high in protein and nitrates plus pain, suspected uti. Today they have said I have a high yeast count in my urine so they suspect thrush has got into my bladder :/

it is so painful. Have just rung the OOH doctor to get a prescription for OH to pick up on his way home from work. It is so sore, I was moaning in pain just now with my friend here :(

Anyone had any experience of this?

No experience but lots of sympathy - sounds horrible! Hope you're on the mend soon!

im am 30+5 and just found out i have thrush
the nurse told me to boil wash any towels, flannels and bedding to prevent reinfection so might be worth you doing that?
not much help other than that but i sympathise

I had a bit of a scare at the weekend because of blood in urine (or just 'down there'. I was grateful it was 'just' an infection that can be easily treated. its painful though :(

Very good point about the bedding! I hadn't thought. Will use my pessary tonight and then wash bedding in the morning! :)

Had a letter from doctor to ring and discuss my results, soonest they can ring me back is next Tuesday! Luckily I got treatment from ooh docs on Saturday :/
