15 weeks, gender?, pic attached

Drastically failed with my first thread in trying to attach a picture of our scan today, does anyone have a idea what the gender of our baby is from this scan?
15 weeks today, we are having sexing scan next week but are really excited!

Do you really think people can tell from that picture?

Baby looks cute but no idea which sex it is, sorry.

Boy!! What a lovely clear scan pic, mines rubbish and blurry!

Id say girl! My boy pic the nub is pointing up but this baby nub is horizontal. Will be interesting to see what they say, do let us kno!

I am really v doubtful how reliable that can be at 16 weeks

I'd say its a boy but can't be sure tbh. I've only got boys so wouldn't know what a scan pic of a girl would look like

Pacific- I had a sexing scan at 16 weeks. I paid for a 3D one and it was brilliant! You could see literally everything! Little fingers and toes, elbows and knees and yes, even which sex the baby was.

We are paying £40 locally.

Are you having a 3D one Emily? I think they're probably more reliable tbh. I paid about £60 I think it was

And yes, some babies are more cooperative than others.
As somebody says in the thread I linked to if you look at how babies develop in the womb, you can see how male and female genitalia can look very similar for rather a long time...

But yeah, gotta love a nice scan - I just wouldn't use the information gained to chose the nursery colours

My 3d 16 week scan was so clear i shouted out boy the second the songrapher put the dooda on my tummy, and im not trained in it!
Confirmed at 20 week scan. Pacific, its very easy to tell sex at 16 weeks if baby cooperates and my little man was only to happy to flash the goods!

I paid £50 for my private Gender Scan when I was 16 weeks. There was absolutely no mistaking the gender as his willy was clearly there for all to see

I had a babybond gender at 16wks 4 days said girl and were right

Guess a boy ....just on the nub theory ....I've just had a 12 week private scan and the Dr guessed mine also

Where I'm from we used to have the anomaly scan at 16 weeks so I was told the gender of my first 3 at 16 weeks and each time they was correct, they have started doing them at 20 weeks now tho but gender is very clear at 16 weeks!

I'm a sonographer (of 18 years experience). Although you can pretty accurately sex a baby at 15 weeks I don't think you can reliably sex this baby from this image. Sorry! Good luck for next week.i

Going with the skull theory I would say boy. What a great, clear scan!

Girl. At my scan the sonographer said they could see 3 lines and it was therefore a girl. I can see 3 lines on yours.

You can't tell from that picture. The three lines mentioned above are seen from a different angle. Of course that doesn't mean it's not a girl but this pic alone does not show the sex.

Girl deffo. Let us know.
