Just that really; can't get over how mentally unprepared i am for this labour and birth. I'm excited about having a 3rd child, but bricking it over the process of getting it out. My last 2 labours were straighforward and fairly quick, so not overly traumatic, but i'm still dreading the pain and indignity. Nothing i can do about it now. Just wanted to get that off my chest. Such a chicken!

Know how you feel!

Ds1was back to back and induced (16 days late Shock) horrible! ended in Emcs. Sad
DD1 was a successful VBAC but I had very bad tearing upwards iyswim.
I'm now 35 weeks and this one has been back to back for the last few weeks no matter how much time I've spent on ball/ knees etc. Just have a bad feeling about it now.
Good luck!

Not at all!!

I believe every time you have a baby you have pregnancy ghosts. So although im very confident about my ability to give birth im terrified of hospitals. I've got s thread about my experience of the MLU today.

I know I can give birth with no pain relief-I've done it enough times but im scared the hcps will stop me...iyswim!

Cs & tearing are far from pleasant! Just try to relax. Believe in yourself & take care!
