Hi Guys,

Im getting so down with all this getting pregnant stuff in my head. I had a miscarriage in july (10 weeks) and FINALLY ovulated again in october, ive had 7 days high temp readings but negative test results, am i testing too early? i should have started my period on friday (5 days ago) Ive had different symptoms from last time, eg felt very hot and small cramps but this time boobs are still normal size. I found out at 5 weeks last time and im well aware that date is fast approaching and still negative result.

Please some one talk some sense to me, i feel like im in a whirlwind.

Hey I'm no expert but didn't want to read and run.

If it took until October before you ovulated, perhaps you are just not back to a regular cycle yet? I would have thought if you were 5 days late a test would be positive by now.

Personally I would take a first response test with first pee of the day and see what that comes back as. Fingers crossed for a BFP soon! Xxx

Can you ask your GP for a blood test? Would be more conclusive than poas?

Good luck!

Are you trying to work out if you ovulated or if you're pg? Temps raised for three days usually indicates ovulation - but you can't really rely on that. You'd need a blood test from the GP, and you'll be too late for that now for this month. If you're trying to work out if you're pg, I'm confused: do you have a very short LP? You'd normally expect 10-14 days after ovulation (and hence high temps) before AF, but some people do have very short LPs.

Could you have ovulated late?
