39+6

Hello!
I am 39+6 today by scan dates, (but 40+6 by LMP) and I am fed up.
I have been seeing a chiropractor for SPD, but cannot afford it anymore, so that pain is getting worse.
I am huge, and am not sleeping.
I am going to the midwife drop in this afternoon, is there anything they can do?
I am taking pain relief, omeprazole and a herbal sleeping pill (that is apparently safe) but am still in pain, vomiting up acid and cannot sleep longer than 90 mins twice a night.
Book me for induction, or a sweep? Or just blow really hard into my mouth in the hope that the baby just pops out??!?

I'm sure you could ask for a sweep and to be booked for induction, really impress upon them how hard you're finding this last bit.

S&S done, but cervix is still posterior, very long and closed.
She said no baby for a long time :(
Won't even consider induction for another 13 days as both baby and Is physical health is brilliant. (apparently)
I am so down now, which presumably is why they don't do S&Ss early.
I just want a bottle of wine and some diazepam so I get some fucking sleep and stop hurting all the time!!!!!!!!
