So since about 18 weeks or so I've been feeling really great apart from feeling a bit more tired than normal but I can deal with that! Anyway, yesterday I started feeling a bit off, lost my appetite big time and had no energy to do anything. Got in from being out for a few hours with a blinding headache, had a bath, popped on some pjs, fell asleep and at 9pm dh suggested I have some dinner but I felt it was far too late. Headache gets worse, I'm in tears and off to bed I go. It eased slightly this morning, but still pretty painful that it made me sickHmm I had some breakfast and a strong cuppa hoping that would help but 45 minutes later I was sick again. Has all this been caused by missing a meal?

I have no idea but if it's any consolation, I'm getting this, too. Iv felt better at 18w but now I'm 20w and threw up Dinner last night and even at work now I'm feeling sick as a dog and am in danger of meeting breakfast again.
I've gained only 1.5kg so far this pregnancy, despite a good sized 20w bump. I was hoping I'd seen the last of staring into the toilet bowl Sad

I'm just over 22 weeks, and have been enjoying it whilst I can. I knew it seemed too good to be true! So far my weight hasn't changed that much but fluctuates by half a stone every now and again, must be because I the lack I food Hmm

Sounds like a bug to me. Poor you :(

K8eee · 19/11/2013 11:24

What suggests that Toby? I've now got onto a fizzy vitamin c tablet and some soluble Panadol with a side order of salt & vinegar crisps Blush

Just the fact that it sounds like a bug!

Haven't we all had a bug like this at some point or another? Headache, sickness, loss of appetite for a day or two...

It's not unusual to have a bit of a regression towards the end of the second trimester and feel sicky, ill and tired again. Try to stay rested and hydrated. If your headache continues though do go and get your blood pressure taken just in case it's gone a bit funny. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Mogz. Shall try and hopefully keep at least fluid down.

I'm similar to you K8eee the morning sickness started easing at 16-18 weeks after having been terrible for weeks. I'm now 21+3 I've found the last couple of weeks I've been feeling loads better and not as tired. However I'll have random days where I'm sick for no apparent reason and I get cracking headaches some days. Headaches can be a sign of pre-eclampsia so it's worth being aware of that but I've always been told it's most likely hormone headaches as its not accompanied by other symptoms. Basically pregnancy wreaks havoc on our poor bodies! Least the end product is worth all this :)
