Flipping heck my nipples are so bloody sensitive. Honestly I could pick up a radio signal...my boobs also are feeling ridiculously large. Last time I felt like this my milk was about come in several days after I had DD.

I'm only 30wks, surely this isn't normal?

This is exactly how I feel and I'm only 12 weeks - never felt like this with my first DC it's awful!

ladylashes · 18/11/2013 21:52

I feel the same and i'll be 17 weeks tomorrow. The other night my stupid right nipple was so sore it woke me up during the night - felt like it was on fire. I've had really sore nipples since 6 weeks :-(

Dam it...so I'll just stuck it up until it's starts properly in Jan!

Arghhhh

Me too. I'm 16+3 and I've also started leaking fluid (colostrum) from my right breast, which is a bit embarrassing... DH thinks it's hilarious... :-(

Cover your nips in cocoa butter and pop breast pads in. It really helps, mine were unbearable!

Pinkbell123 · 19/11/2013 11:26

Aaah the leakage! I've had this for a few months now (27 weeks) and its so cringey! Thankfully its only been at night so far....

thecakeisalie · 19/11/2013 12:41

I'm only 21 weeks but I can so relate. I think because its dc3 my boobs just know whats coming so they've started early this time! Why on earth they have to stand to attention all the time though I don't know. I swear I could take someone eye out with my nipples and that's not even when I'm cold! I'm sure I've started leaking a tiny bit too. Ah the dignity of being pregnant :)

ChicaMomma · 19/11/2013 14:47

A good thick sports bra should help. If i'm not wearing a supportive sports bra i get that too, i've packed away all my lovely sexy 34C lacy bras for another yr!! My boobs are fine once they are 'contained' properly though.. it does worry me that i wont be able for the breastfeeding though..

daughterofafarmer · 19/11/2013 18:04

Cocoa butter nips....gosh there was a time when that sentence would of been naughty and not practical advice Wink

Sadly sports bras aren't really working either.

8 wks left arghhhhh! Then no doubt I'll have cracked bleeding nipples instead Grin

I've had this on and off since about 10 weeks (now 32 weeks). I've worked out that it generally happens when they're cold (even if the rest of me is warm). Extra layers and breast pads for warmth might help.

honeyharris · 19/11/2013 21:34

I'm 17 weeks and have had this for the last few weeks, especially when I've been out in the cold - it's really bordering on painful!
