What do I need to know? I know what a sweep is but how sore will it be? Will I be able to get the bus home afterwards or should I call a taxi? Any information at all would be great, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing :) sorry for the stupid questions!

You'll be absolutely fine, it's only like an examination. Similar to a smear test I guess, you feel fine afterwards.

I had one last Wednesday (which didn't work grrr) and I drove afterwards as I was absolutely fine, it is uncomfortable but not terribly painful and you feel a little bit tender after but you should be ok to travel however you wish, hope this helps Smile good luck

I had one on Fri (which didnt work for me either grrr) and one this morning and they were honestly fine, uncomfortable but not particularly painful, I would say like a heavy handed smear really. You should be fine for travelling home. Good luck!

Oh just to say maybe take a sanitary towel with you for after, I had a light brown bleed after my first sweep.
