35 +1 with my first. As the due date draws closer I'm increasingly having an inner monologue of 'fuck, shit, fuck, fuck, fuck, bollocks, shit, fuck, I'M NOT READY TO BE SOMEONE'S MUM, OH FUUUUUUCK'.

Anyone want to join me freaking out boat? Blush

(Or anyone want to reassure me that it'll all be fine?)

It is well scary when it's your first nothing can possibly prepare you. It's bloody hard work. The worst thing for me was the sleepless nights and not getting much time together as a couple. Having a baby changes your life so much especially if your mum. The dad'life changes but not as much as mum's. But you know what it's the best thing ever but the hardest job to uh have ever done. You feel so lucky to be blessed with a child. I have been longing for another child for so long. Unfortunately the last 2 pregnancy did not work out.
I am now 8 weeks and things are looking more hopeful after getting an early scan. I am so happy but still keeping my fingers crossed.

Yes I am. Just moved too so all a bit overwhelming - new area, culture, lifestyle and so also now starting to feel a bit "help" about being a mum and losing who I was before. I'm sure this is completely normal but nice to know u all feel the same. I have had a couple of wobbles during pregnancy only for a few hours or so when I've panicked but most of time I've been so excited. I think for me it's the move out of London which has thrown me. All seems more real now. Argh. Hope I'll go back to feeling chilled and excited soon.
