Feeling sleepy all the time

Hi everyone, I have been feeling sleepy and exhausted. Dnt know if it's pregnancy related or if I am being lazy.
I am 27 weeks now and sleep around 8 pm and wake up at 6 am. At the weekend today I had so many chores to do but only managed half of them. Had a mid morning nap for 2 hrs and feeling exhausted already. Feel like I am being a lazy cow but just can't move. Anyone else feeling the same?

I feel the same but Im only 11 weeks. my house is untidy ( usually very tidy so not like me at all) and Im sleeping 11 hours some nights. My Dh offered to take mw to mulberry today to cheer me up but i couldn't even be arsed to get off the settee. he's now very worried about me lol. I think its normal to feel really tired. I reckon we should get in as much sleep now as we can lol x

You should see your midwife at 28 weeks and she'll check your iron levels. They could be low which can make you feel drained.

Being pregnant makes you tired anyway but if you feel you're overly tired than see your midwife or doctor. As a previous poster said, you could have low iron levels which are easily sorted with iron tablets.

Congrats by the way, and all the best Smile

Thanks, will ask about iron levels. I had bloods done at the start of pregnancy and everything was normal so was told don't need any repeat blood tests done.

I thought everyone had repeat bloods at 28 weeks? Anyway, tell the midwife and I'm sure they'll test for you.

I'm 28 weeks and have days/weeks like this. I need to have a half/full day in bed and then I bounce back for a bit. I think some exhaustion is normal in pregnancy, but anaemia is common and easy to sort.
