Just a thought.. For the baby, should I take premature 5lb to 10lb baby grows as well as new on? Just in case she is little...

Newborn suits most babies, except if they are smaller than 6lb ish. My pfb was 5lb 11oz 2 weeks overdue so i was ill prepared with massive newborn sleepsuits and vests that swamped her so much she looked as though she was being eaten by themGrin. My dm had to venture out for tiny baby suits!

Maybe take a few of each x

You sound very well prepared and well organised. I had a c-section in the summer and think you've covered everything really. I'd take a lighweight dressing gown as the maternity wards are always boiling hot. Best of luck to you Smile

phone charger

catellington · 23/11/2013 21:08

You could get a pack of tiny baby sleep suits and vests if you want - my dd was 5lb 1 and the newborn stuff far too big so dh nipped to asda to get some of the little ones to take her home. They only lasted two weeks but I preferred having stuff that fit properly!

LittlePeaPod · 23/11/2013 21:31

Catellington I bought some small ones just in case. So I will take some of the small ones and the new born. Smile

Ok, good luck, it's good in a way to know you will be staying in so you can be prepared!

Do you have an iPhone or ipad? If so check out 23snaps app for sharing photos with friends and family

LittlePeaPod · 23/11/2013 23:05

Thanks Catellington. I am off to find that app Grin

Shower gel on a hook (radox do a hooky bottle)
Sports cap bottle so you can drink lying down
Loose dresses or soft trousers for going home. "Under bump" jeans = "on the scar".

Hello LittlePeaPod not stalking you, honest! Wink

Congratulations again on the safe arrival of your dd! Smile Just wondered if you could share your thoughts on your hospital bag now please? As am in the process of doing mine.

Am going to add mints, jaffa cakes and stripy sleepsuits (how many sleepsuits do you think is necessary?).

I'm sure I'm going to pack far too much! (Also having an elcs so will be in hospital for 2-3 days).

SlinkyB · 03/01/2014 12:19

P.s, sorry, did you take formula in in the end? Had never seen those bottles of ready made Aptamil before you linked to them, and am now tempted.
