What are you all wearing all day in bed?

I bought some PJs in a bigger size from Primarni, but they just flap all over the place and fall down.

Is it worth buying proper bump shape ones?
(Do they even make them?)

i just buy the bigger mens shirts from primarni..

go raid the mens see what they have is my advice..

I know many won't agree but two pairs of ultra comfy maternity pjs (got them for Xmas last pregnancy) was one of my best/favourite buys (esp the bottoms) and have lasted me very well for two pregnancies - plus in the early days of Dc1 I pretty much lived in them - as still very comfy and prob will do for dd2. Highly recommend.

LadyMetroland · 13/11/2013 18:41

Well worth the investment in proper bottoms. I bought jojo maman ones and lived in them in the final weeks when all my trousers became too uncomfortable

MildredH · 13/11/2013 18:45

I got 2 pairs of proper maternity pj's from mamas & papas and one from mothercare. Got them all with discount/ sale price I think. So worth it IMHO. You spend a lot of time in them and can be so uncomfy in bed anyway towards the end it's worry doing anything to help.

One thing tho- I bought a third pair from M&P because I loved the pattern but the bottoms had no stretch and they were just flipin uncomfy. I'd stick to jersey with a nice bit of stretch..

FizzlingFireboxes · 13/11/2013 19:20

I got some from M&S the other week, really glad I did, they have a top with internal support, feeding access and so soft and comfy, I could live in them :) Well worth it.

Pinkbell123 · 13/11/2013 20:26

I've just bought some hideous satiny ones from m and s as I (embarrassingly) find it a massive effort to turn over in bed due to pgp and a memory Foam mattress which seems to trap me! My mum is a Parkinson's nurse and recommends them to her patients for movement difficulties. We'll see.

Littlemissexpecting · 13/11/2013 20:34

I got some under bump from mothercare and over bump from m&s. Get some you won't regret it! Even though ds was a summer baby I wore them in hospital too (got kept in 2 nights) and when I got home as much comfier.

Clargo55 · 13/11/2013 21:26

My favourites are from JoJo Maman and Boden. Both super comfy.

MildredH · 13/11/2013 21:55

Meant to say- mine are also all nursing tops which I'm hoping will be handy when I'm living in them in the early months days.

PrincessKitKat · 13/11/2013 23:56

I got the navy stripe pair from manas & papas - £20 in their 30% off sale (think its still on?)

I've lived in them, soooo comfy. And also its a nursing top so it'll be useful after.

CrispyFB · 14/11/2013 00:16

I have some lovely ones from JoJo which double as nursing pyjamas afterwards with a nice hidden flap. So I'll know I'll get a lot of use out of them even though I paid full price. I figure in terms of value for money per hour spent wearing them they probably work out better than most of the other clothes I have, except maybe coats and shoes. After all one tends to have far fewer pyjamas than, say, tops, trousers etc.

Inglori0us · 14/11/2013 08:27

I'm wearing maternity leggings and vest. Comfy.

Snobble · 14/11/2013 12:56

Im tempted to buy the onesie from groupon in large today. Plenty of bump growing room & they are really comfy :)

WillSingForCake · 14/11/2013 14:38

I've got these and love them. Wish they were slightly thicker material, probably better for a spring/summer pregnancy, but they're very comfortable and look good!

Inglori0us · 14/11/2013 15:36

Snobble New Look sell maternity onesies!

Mim78 · 14/11/2013 15:42

I have been wearing PJ trousers in a size bigger than I normally take (from boden) and any old T shirt/top that covers the bump. My friend gave me some of her tops that she thought would fit me but they are too big so I've been wearing them in bed! They are just things like H and M basic tops.

AllieOC · 14/11/2013 15:53

Lycra lounge pants from M&S, the pyjama equivalent of a hug!

Dusty04 · 14/11/2013 17:02

I have 2 pairs of the m&s ones and love them! Got both when they had 20% off. I don't want to go back to normal pjs, these are so comfy :)

momentofmadness0 · 14/11/2013 17:27

I've just bought these and they are wonderful and comfy. They are on sale with free delivery at the moment. And black to hide any leakage of bodily fluids after the birth.

Middy75 · 14/11/2013 22:19

I have some Mothercare under bump ones and I still find them uncomfortable. Bought a couple of onsies from Asda and they are amazing!

SaucyJack · 15/11/2013 13:17

Those M&P ones look good Moment

Nice to see black ones too.

momentofmadness0 - ooh like the look of those M+P ones, but have you found if they come up big or small? The 8/10 or 12/14 sizing options are a bit tricky for a 10/12...

MildredH · 15/11/2013 13:35

I'm a 10-12 and sized up to 12-14 which I've found perfect.

buttercupski · 15/11/2013 13:38

Thanks, MildredH, I'll give the 12/14 a go then.
