Argh! Just when I thought I was getting to grips with the constipation (prune juice/ fybogel/ water etc) and heartburn (gaviscon), now I have a new challenge...

I'm a big bloated painful bag of gas! So uncomfortable was I that I couldn't stay on sofa and just came to bed before the end of xfactor (probably a good thing)!

I'm actually in pain with it - fine lying still but moving around have pain in my side. I've just got up at 2am and had a good bounce on my Swiss ball until some belches and farts came out!

Anyone else struggling/struggled like this?! I'm 14 weeks..

Any advice welcome! THANK YOU

I was in tears the other night because of trapped gas! I kid you not. In the end OH had to rub my tummy and I took several Panadol to get to sleep. Only 8 weeks too.

I've cut out wheat mainly after that as I find it bloats me and things have settled down. WOuld keeping a food diary for a few days help you might notice if it's bad on certain

Lie on your front and hug your knees into your chest. Someone on here mentioned it when I was in agony for IBS trapped wind. I do it for pregnancy now too Smile

I found hot water bottles and baths were good at helping with the pain and a few of those probiotic yoghurts for a few days might help. Hope you feel better soon

Lime cordial, fresh ginger and hot water are a natural relief to wind and bloating. Be warned though you will be farting and burping a lot about an hour after drinking it..

Teaspoon of bicarb in half a glass of water! l was a complete windbag for 9 months. This helped...
